Welcome back. May is moving along and it is finally bringing some nice weather. This week temperatures will reach the 70s and 80s. Actually above normal for this time of year. But we’ll take it! It’s been cold long enough.
It Was Time to Fly the Coup!
This past Friday my wife and I finally went on a mini-vacation to the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY, to see the Blue Oyster Cult. A band that started the late 1960s and had several big hits. It was time. Time to get out of the house. The pandemic has kept us home long enough. We haven’t really done much since last Fall except for immediate family events of course. My wife bought the tickets quite a few months ago when Covid-19 was on the decline, so we thought it would be safe. Plus we’re both vaccinated and boosted.
As the concert date grew closer, of course, sure enough, Covid-19 was making a comeback. You just can’t win!
