Welcome back to my journal. I hope you have been enjoying it.

Today I was lucky enough to have a Black-Capped Chickadee eat from my hand. I have written about this before, but it never gets old. Of course, it doesn't happen that often either. They are pretty tame birds but unless the feeders are empty, they rarely will eat from your hand. At least that’s my experience. I didn’t plan to do this today, but it happened and made my day!

Only 4 days until Christmas! I don’t think there will be enough days left to write about and show photos of all of our Christmas trees. But I will try. I love spreading Christmas cheer in this time of many worries, including the pandemic, inflation, and much more. If my journal entries bring joy to one person, then my effort is all worth it.
