Taking Down Christmas

Welcome back to my journal. Now that the holidays have passed, at our house and millions of others it's time to start taking down and putting away the Christmas decorations. It’s a daunting task, however, we are retired now which helps. Although we are also getting older. Normally, we try to get everything down by Martin Luther King Day.

I know what you are thinking. It takes that long? Are you kidding? Well, if you have followed this journal from the first installment on 12/7/21, you know that we have a lot of Christmas trees and decorations. Throughout December, I showed most of our trees and outside decorations. I may have missed a few.

So today we started. We hate to take them down. But we must move forward. Like any project, getting started is the hardest. So we started small and will gradually pick away at it.

Weather Update

The weather continues to be a roller coaster ride. There is still no snow cover (that has stayed) here in Central NY…
