Another day another journal entry. I missed yesterday, was just just too busy last night setting up a Christmas tree. Yes you heard me correctly, another tree. But there’s a story. Always a story.
In my previous story I talked about our seasonal tree that we decorated for the various holidays throughout the year. We wanted to replace it since it is at least 25 years old, however, the first attempt yielded a tree that was too small. The second attempt was delayed on Amazon. Who knows when that would be shipped.
Lo and behold my wife found one online through Lowes. One left at the store. So she ordered it and off to our local store I went. Thank God. Problem solved.
I proudly marched in to pick up the tree. Should be a simple shopping trip. It didn’t take long. Disappointment set in quickly as the customer service rep told me they didn’t have it, it was an inventory mistake online. Breathe in. Breathe out.
But wait! He said there was a display model that might work! Cool! So off we…
