It Might Not Be a White Christmas
Hello and welcome back. Christmas is coming. Have you heard? Well the 1 to 3 inches of expected snow yesterday ended up being mostly rain. It was just a tad too warm here, bur North of here, especially in the Adirondacks, they ended up with 4 to 8 inches. As it got colder overnight, we got a little snow, just a touch. A sprinkling, just enough to look nice.
After a week or so of mild weather, today is back to reality. The temperature reached a high of 24 with a stiff wind that produced a windchill of about 12 degrees. I postponed hiking today until tomorrow. The rest of the week leading up to Christmas is supposed to turn milder again. Up and down, so goes the weather these days.
