Thanks for the great response and I’m glad you like my article and know about Lapland! My son and I have climbed quite a few mountains in the ADK with fire towers but not Cathead. We have climbed Owls Head near Long Lake, Goodnow, Arab, Blue, Adams and a few others. I have never tried telemark skiing.
